ZeroAvia, a leading company in the zero-emission aviation sector, will launch the construction of its hydrogen-powered aircraft thanks to the addition of new financial backers who have shown interest in the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of them was the Breakthrough Energy Ventures company, owned by Bill Gates, who was part of the Series A funding round organized by ZeroAvia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along with this Amazon’s Climate Pledge Fund contributed a total of 21.4 million dollars to the cause, to which was also added the investment made by the United Kingdom government with 16.6 million dollars, according to a report by the Bloomberg News agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ZeroAvia said they aims to use the money to advance the development of technology that could reduce carbon emissions from the aviation sector by replacing fossil fuel burning propulsion with a hydrogen fuel cell system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company recently announced plans to work with the British airline, British Airways. The Nordic countries are also pushing to decarbonize domestic flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
